This piece was one of the first in the Daruma Series to be assembled incorporating Momoko’s unique mask technique.
Darumas’ faces were previously sculpted solely with dollops of hot glass. To achieve larger Darumas the face was created on a separate form, brought down to room temperature, cut and carved into a mask, then heated back up to be assembled onto the final form.
This Daruma is also the first to merge with the Lotus Series.
By changing the scale of the Daruma their heavier presence and prominent watchful eye serves as a stronger reminder of your goals and intention.
