I’m sure many of you have heard of some variation around the ritual of putting something under your pillow in hope of good fortune or having a wish come true. I also like how our dreams can be both our aspirations and hopes while also being our unconscious state of mind. It’s a reality that hasn’t been realized yet but for some reason we can see it.
Something I learned around the time I created this piece is that everything I wished for in the past can still come true, it just might not come true in the way I assumed it would.
