This deity, also known as Jizo, is a protector of travelers and of children. They are also guardians of lost souls. These statues are commonly seen throughout Japan, often found along trails in the mountains.
Each piece also comes with a red “pillow” as an optional display mat. You are also invited to display this piece in your terrarium or around other elements of nature that you might enjoy.
