The mirror represents portals, a source of light, infinity among many other ideas. The hot sculpted glass key represents unlocking new potential, stepping into the unknown, and is an object that has held importance for many reasons.
I’m dreaming up a series around keys, chains, and perhaps some locks. I love the dualities around glass where it has to potential to look ancient and futuristic at the same time. The contrast with the vintage frame and the fluidity and organic nature of the free-form sculpted clear glass floating in the middle allows peoples mind to wander where it needs.
