Namida, meaning tears, was combined with Daruma creating an endearing name for this puddle baby.
The first of its kind debuted at The Big Softie art show at Soft Times Gallery for their final exhibition.
Embracing the fluidity of molten glass these pieces to capture the feeling of deep frustration that comes with existential crisis and choice paralysis. Struggle is a huge element of Daruma symbolism.

Fun Facts:
Fuchsia is the key color, and its essential ingredient is gold.
Glass is archival, which means you can wash it and even leave it in the sun and the colors will never fade.
The ripples on the bottom of this piece are what glass people call chill marks. When the surface of molten glass cools down rapidly while the form stretches, these small waves occur.
